Give a kitMake someone's daySkip to content
Handwritten, never printed

Someone is about to open this kit. Say something to them.

Every kit leaves with a note someone wrote by hand. It takes less than a minute, and it is often the part people keep.

  • 120 characters or fewer
  • Read before it is packed
  • Copied out by hand
How a note travels

Three steps, then it is in someone's hands

Notes are not posted anywhere. They go from this page to a card, and from that card into a kit.

  1. 01

    You write it

One short message, up to 120 characters. No account, no personal details, no donation required.

  2. 02

    We read it

A volunteer coordinator reviews every note before it goes any further. Notes with personal contact details or anything unkind are held back.

  3. 03

    A volunteer writes it out

Approved notes are copied by hand onto a card, never printed, and tucked into a kit at the next packing day.

Need a starting point?

A volunteer coordinator reads every note before it goes any further. Once it is approved, a volunteer writes it out by hand on a card and packs it into a kit headed to a local partner.

What volunteers actually write

Short, specific and human. You do not need to know anything about the person who opens the kit.

  • Hard seasons end. You are not walking through this one alone.

    With love, a volunteer

  • Your story is not finished, and it deserves a good next page.

    With love, a volunteer

  • May this small thing make your day a little lighter.

    With love, a volunteer

Prefer to write in person? Volunteer at a packing day and you can write notes by hand all afternoon.

A note costs nothing. A kit costs about $15.

Send the words for free, or fund the supplies that carry them to someone's door.
